Gabi Scardi
Gabi Scardi is an independent curator, art critic and professor. She investigates contemporary collaborative interdisciplinary methologies. Alexios Papazacharias
Alexios Papazacharias is an independant curator based in Athens. He has studied cultural technology and communication (University of the Aegean) and contemporary art, history and theory (UCL, Belgium). His first curated show was titled Acrobat Reading and took place in 2011. He has collaborated with artists such as Maria Papadimitriou, Eleni Kamma, Peter Kogler, Frank Bragigand, Eugenia Apostolou, Mariella Simoni, Georgia Sagri, Rallou Panagiotou, Antoinetta Angelidi and Constantine Giannaris. Selected group shows he has curated: Photoreportage, an exhibition cut in two by the change of year (2014-2015), Civilization, genres and cases (2013), 7th Song (for Maldoror) (2012). He has co-curated exhibitions such as: The Desire for Freedom. Art in Europe after 1945, Beyond Boundaries (with Denys Zacharopoulos and Maro Psyrra) (2014), The Mediterannean Experience (2013) (with Denys Zacharopoulos), Sculptural Narrations (with Erika Wacker Babnic) (2010), The First Image Sequences and La Première Image (with Denys Zacharopoulos and Manuella Annibali) (2009). In 2013 he was one of the curators of INSPIRE workshop in MMCA Thessaloniki under the title Metamorphosis.
